We cannot afford any more
chaos during this time of instability.
That is why we must back
independence for Scotland to ensure our continuing membership of the European
Union.
And unlike what some in the
Tory party may say the only guarantee of further uncertainty comes from
remaining shackled to the sinking ship that is the United Kingdom.
What is more uncertain than a
free falling pound? Than companies rushing for the exit door to retain access
to the single market? Than the safety and citizenship of our own EU citizens?
If you are looking for a
beacon of stability and hope you will not find it in a Westminster that is
still choking on the smoke from chaotic party infighting from all sides.
Instead look north and you will see a Government that is calmly and competently
doing all it can to protect its people while reassuring those most at risk that
they will remain valued.
The one certainty that we
have is that the only hope we have of retaining our place in Europe and the
world lies in Scotland.
And we must remember that it
is those living and working here from the EU who have the most to lose if we
stay shackled to the UK.
